Good News for my mom!

I just got some very good news. My Mom had a C/T scan Thursday 1/10/08 after finishing radiation on 12/21/07 and the scan came back CLEAR! I am so relieved that it came back good, I was worried sick. My mom is still receiving chemo - a follow up on making sure the cancer does not return. The chemo she received for a good part of last year did not work as well as the Dr. had hoped. The radiation must have killed the cancer that was in the lymphnodes. I know she still has a big chance of the cancer returning, because of the type of aggressive disease she has.

Today is just Thursday, I am staying the night with my mom tonight, so I won't see my hubby till after work Friday.

I am thankful that the week is almost over! I am tired. I am drained.

I feel like I've started to distance myself from some of my closest friends lately. It seems like there is so much going on.

I made a few resolutions this year:
Slowly cut back on alcohol and stop by April 22 (day after our First wedding anniversary).
Try to conceive a baby by end of summer.
Save money for a down payment.
