Today marks 4 years

Today is a hard day, it will never be easy. Today marks the 4th anniversery of my dear friend David's death. It was 5/22/04 when we met up at my friend's house for a BBQ Birthday Party in Campbell. I had not seen David in at least 6 months, it was so nice that he came from Seaside to the party. We hugged and talked for several hours. I was supposed to drive him home that night, it was not supposed to go the way it did, we were supposed to get together more often and grow old together and have our children play together.

David Paul Quiroz - 9/28/79 - 5/23/04
David Paul Quiroz, 25, passed away on May 23, 2004 in Campbell.

A young man who was 18 at the time did not want to leave a party he was not invited to = He changed my life forever. I have had nightmares about watching my friend bleed to death after being stabbed to death. I miss David, nothing can ever take away the hole in my heart and the piece of my soul that died that night. I don't have a day that passes when I don't think about him. I talk to him all the time, and I wonder if he can hear me.

Yesterday was the anniversery of the date that my dear friend rolled his car on the way to the party (i mentioned above) and killed his two best friends, my friend is sitting in jail now for DUI with deaths. I hate that all of us that attended that party lost so much - We thought "How could this all happen in one night" "Please let us wake up from the nightmare"

The man that took my friend's life is in prision where he belongs for he remainder of his life. I testified against him and I will try to do all in my power that he never is paroled. He does not deserve to ever walk free again after a senseless killing like he did. I've even heard he brags about "shanking someone" in prision. I hope he ROTS IN HELL.

Frustration begins

I had to go get a lab done for blood work after my first check up yesterday. I was given a sheet with names and locations of where I could get it done at. I used to have Kaiser prior to my current health care provider, Blue Cross HMO.

Well after visting 2 labs on the way to work - the fist had 30 people in the waiting room, the second was not open yet. I waited at the second one until it opened, to find out that I was given the wrong form and locations of where I could have blood drawn at. I nearly was crying as I walked out wasting all morning, so I have to go after work to a location that is near my work, and open until 6. GRRR - don't piss me off - I have a hot temper - I'm Irish, Italian and Mexican - a fiery combo without pregnant hormones.

I'm PREGNANT

I am 5 weeks and 5 days preg. I am over the moon, as my hubby is and my entire family that knows is happy as can be.

I have only told a few friends, family and my nest friends. I am going to tell work after my fist Ultra Sound on 6/11/08.

So happy....my mom is very happy, she actaully called it on Saturday when we went out for lunch, she siad I had a "glow" and was I pregnant, I said nope, I tested on Monday and Friday this week, but negative.

I am so happy, I have not slept all week, but I am drinking all of my 8 glasses of water a day, my BF is a RN and that was her 2 biggest "To Do" for me, she said that if I get dehydrated problems can occur and she also told me to stop drinking diet anything, including using sugar substitutes. I have a heavy diet coke addiction, which I have abrutley stopped drinking.

I am so happy to finally have my little seed growing, books say it is the size of an apple seed now.
I got this online, I wonder if my little seed is this size:

Mother's Day

As the day approaches, I think of how special my mom has been in my life and how much I want to be a mom too. I really want to give my mom another grandchild, her first from her "baby". My brother has 2 of the cutest children ever.

I am thankful to have had a wonderful, supportive mother.

My best friend is coming on Saturday - yippeeeee! Oh, and she just had her first baby in Novemeber and I'm dying to meet my little niece (like a sister), she's staying with us so I am very excited to have her wake up on Sunday to a nice mother's day breakfast with me cooking it for her. It just makes me so happy that she had her first and I can't wait to have my first - hopefully soon so our kids can be close in age, since we live 3,000 miles away from each other.
