Your baby, just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a fig, is now almost fully formed. Her hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under her gums, and some of her bones are beginning to harden.She's already busy kicking and stretching, and her tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet. These movements will become more frequent as her body grows and becomes more developed and functional. You won't feel your baby's acrobatics for another month or two — nor will you notice the hiccupping that may be happening now that her diaphragm is forming.

Still feeling like poop and now I have a cold

I have been suffering from morning sickness pretty bad in my opinion, I threw up all day yesterday and dry heaved this morning. I just started trying the PSI band, I can't say for sure if it has helped, I haven't worn it daily, unless I started to feel sick.

After a lovely business trip in Rocklin on Monday I came back feeling sick, I have a sore throat and a runny nose and lots of sneezing. I couldn't take anything as per a Longs pharmacist. I was inquiring about Sudafed and she told me not to take it, better safe than sorry. So in the mean time I took a weak tylenol and a nasal spay which did nothing.

I will upload my ultra scan and a belly picture soon, probably this weekend.

Why do they call it Morning Sickness?

I have it all day, starts in the morning, but it's 3:50 and I just got sick. I have been throwing up all day since lunch. I had Mexican, and now I think it is on my list of things not to eat. I really hope that the sickness subsides in a few weeks and does not last the entire time. My poor sister-in-law was sick the entire 9 months with my niece and nephew.

Feeling pretty good

My morning sickness is coming and going. It depends on what I eat, from what I can tell. I cannot eat the following: strawberries, any tomato based food - soups, sauces.

I'm bummed cause I love strawberries and everything tomato based. Bummer.

At may last appointment the Dr. told me I lost a pound since the first visit, so I am trying to eat more and in addition more healthy. I have been buying lots of fruit and vegetables. My brother and sister-in-law saved me from my nephew a play pen and bassenet combo, I saw it yesterday and it looks brand new - really good condition!

First U/S went good

We had our first Ultra Sound yesterday, it was so neat seeing the embryo and heart beat flickering. I got 2 pictures, if I can scan them I will put them up.

The Dr. said everything is growing as it should, any determined by measurement that the embryo is 7 weeks and 4 days, instead of almost 9 weeks. Kinda bummed, but happy that all looks good. I just am anxious to get trhough the first trimester. I am so excited, seeing the baby made it more real to D. and I. Our due date will likely change by a week or so. I have another ultra sound in 4 weeks - on 7/16/08. I can't wait to see the changes that have occured since yesterday.

8 weeks - not really 7 weeks

I just started to feel morning sickness, I threw up my lunch up yesterday. Not fun, but I welcome it as a sign that I am growing a little one inside. I was lucky up to this point not to feel any sickness, just luck I guess.

I have my first Ultra Sound tomorrow and I am excited to see what it looks like. I've seen other people's pictures, just not my own. I am super busy at work, and have had not too much time to post more. Rest assured I am thrilled to be expecting our first child.

Here is a picture of what is may look like at this stage of development. I may get a new due date tomorrow at the DR. Appt, we'll see. I hope that I am at least 8 weeks like I was told, not less further along. I just want to make sure I can make it to the 2nd trimester without any complications.
